Me in a nutshell?  How uncomfortable!

Ok let's say that I am an International Man of Mystery. Should I elaborate? Fine: I have lived a very exciting, intercontinental life, like Austin Powers, only that I dress a bit, not much, less extravagantly. Still want more details? Ok: I want to help transform the world, even if my contribution is tiny.  At the same time, I love to enjoy life.

I consider good food, good wine and good company essential elements in daily life, not occasional treats. Cooking is sort of my yoga: I find it very relaxing, inspirational and, ot top of that, the outcome is edible and, if I may say so myself, delicious.

As of today (check back often for updates) I'm a writer, a photographer, a filmmmaker, a green business owner, a retired sailing instructor, and what not. I also have a shady past as a business consultant/corporate lawyer from which I was left with a great collection of silk ties which I rarely wear. I want to recycle these into an awesome patchwork pillow when I have the time.

I'm a big time lover of nature and outdoor sports. I'm singularly skilled at crashing my mountain bike in hilarious ways. Also worth mentioning is the fact that I once accidentally set my hiking boots on fire. One interesting thing I did was to be a seaman on a Tall Ship. We dressed in white, drank a lot, climbed aloft and sailed around the world. We had a motto: if it moves, you salute; if it doesn't move, you paint it.

I'm looking to connect with world-changing people who are funny, open-minded, balanced, sensitive, smart, educated (street education is OK) and well-traveled (armchair travelers are OK)   Did I mention that a sense of humor is essential?
